    GENERAL, FAMILY AND COSMETIC DENTIST

My journey in dentistry started in 2010 when I started studying at Istanbul University, Faculty of Dentistry. Over my academic years, I gained hands-on clinical experience to become a skilled dentist who provides patient-focused care.   In 2015, I moved to Toronto. Immediately I started the equivalency process to become a practicing dentist in Ontario. After completing the exams successfully and receiving my license I proceeded  to take many continuing education courses to update my knowledge on new techniques and materials.   Since I was a child, I have always loved helping people and putting a smile on their face. While I was deciding what my career would be, it was important to me to combine, giving care to people in need, finding solutions for their problems and my passion for art. For me Dentistry is a perfect combination of art and medicine.   Since the first day I started my journey in dentistry, I have enjoyed every second and over the course of the past 9 years, dentistry turned in to my favorite hobby. I believe even with a smallest smile we can brighten people’s day and make a huge difference in their lives. I am so glad that… View Full Profile

    Office Manger

I started my career in the dental field at the age of 16, some 40 years ago. Learning the administrative part of the dental office was very quick. Even at that young age I knew I  needed to be challenged, I needed to learn,  and grow and I wanted to help people.  I wanted to make a difference in patients lives. At that time I decided to pursue my Dental Assisting Career. I graduated from the Dental Assisting Level I program of George Brown College  in 1980.  Since then I have taken the roles of Administrator, Dental Assistant, Supervisor, Office Manager, Consultant and even CEO of a multi dental office business. I have been fortunate and have worked  with many wonderful dentists over the past forty years that have provided me with the knowledge necessary to assist our patients in making educated decisions about their oral health. I have been able to assist and guide my team to provide exceptional customer service to all our patients and I have been instrumental in the creation of systems to ensure quality care, efficiency and professionalism; all with customer service excellence. I also volunteer with an organization called HMO to offer free dental and medical treatment to third world countries and Canada.

    Dental Hygienist

I started my dental career as a dental receptionist in 2005. I loved the patient interaction and the dynamics of the dental office and decided that this was where I belonged! At this time I decided to go back to school to become a Level II Dental Assistant. After completing this and working a bit it seemed that this was not enough. I felt I needed to challenge myself a bit more and to upgrade my knowledge. At this time I registered at Yorkville University to the Dental Hygienist program from which I graduated in 2008. I am passionate about helping my patients prevent dental emergencies, helping them get on a hygiene schedule that is geared only for them and their needs and educating them about their oral health and how to achieve optimal overall health. I pride myself on making my patients feel comfortable, well taken care of and confident. Together we are partners in your dental health care. I am an active member of CDHO and CDHA and I am authorized to self initiate dental hygiene treatment.

In my spare time, I love to be around my friends and family, go to the gym and work on home improvement… View Full Profile

    Dental Hygienist

Since an early age I was very involved in cultural activities and sports. I took part in many national events such as academic contests of Mathematics, Spanish, and Sciences. At the age of 18, due to a shortage of professors, I went into university to become a teacher. I was elected as the president of the students’ federation in my university for 3 consecutive years. After graduation I taught secondary students with great pride for 5 years. Been an educator, it was important for me not only to educate, help and motivate but as well to make a difference in people’s lives.   I arrived in Canada in 2007 from my native country Cuba. Since my arrival in Canada I’ve been working hard with a high degree of responsibility to immerse myself in the Canadian way of life. In 2013 I completed the Business Management – Financial Services program at Humber College. I have also been involved in many volunteer activities in the community; more significantly working with the Refugee Network at Amnesty International Canada. In 2016 I went to pursue my real passion of becoming a dental hygienist.  I graduated with honors in 2018 from the Dental Hygiene Program… View Full Profile

    Administrative Assistant/Dental Assistant Level II

I graduated as a Level II Dental Assistant from Medix College in Toronto in 2009. After graduation I started working as a Level II Dental Assistant and after 3 years I realized I needed more of a challenge. This is when I decided to switch my role  from dental assisting to dental administration. Since 2012 I have been a dental administrator.  I find that the administrative role is more challenging for me than my assisting role. Been in the front end, the first voice my patients hear and the first face they  meet I realized that I can make a profound difference in their lives. My patients are like family to me. I love creating relationships and bonds and sharing in their lives and struggles.  I love seeing the “phobic” patients that come to our office  start for the first time to feel “at ease” with dental treatments. I feel that I have found my passion in administration. I only offer all my patients the kind of service I want as a patient and this creates everlasting bonds. On my spare time,  I love spending time with my  two amazing little girls  watching movies, playing board games and reading. They… View Full Profile
